The fact box is a package of historical events happening in Russia during the Soviet Union regime. I carved balsa wood and burnt the surface of the box to give it a character. The four cubes represents some of the historical facts that happened during Communism time such as Chernobil (1986), Siege of Leningrad (1941-1944), Cold War (1947-1991) and Russian Revolution (1917) In Russia, communism begun after Tsar Nicholas II lost his power during the February Revolution in 1917. ...
